On 12 and 13 May 2026, the consortium of the European LAPERITIVO project met in Leuven, Belgium for its fourth General Assembly and mid-term review meeting.
This meeting has marked the midpoint of the project. Thanks to the technical progress made by all our partners, we are well on the way to achieving our objectives: developing large-area, bifacial, semi-transparent perovskite solar modules, through a comprehensive approach that combines high efficiency, excellent stability, low cost and minimal environment impact.
The initial test results are very encouraging! Perovskite solar modules with an active area of approximately 800 cm² achieved power conversion efficiencies exceeding 18%, using solely industry-compatible processing techniques. Furthermore, the modules retained approximately 88% of their initial performance after one year of outdoor testing in Crete, Greece.
Many thanks to our partner and coordinator imec for organising and hosting the meeting.
